Browns Eastern Limited is a company registered in Cyprus. Founded by a UK qualified Accountant of 30 years standing, the company was formed to offer a highly professional service to business people wishing to invest or disinvest in a commercial enterprise within the Republic of Cyprus.
The founder and MD, William Brown, is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, and brings to this company all the personal qualities of integrity and complete discretion expected of such a professional. His experience also equips him with the tools and ability to value a business, should this service be required by either seller or buyer.
However, business sales handled by this company will pass through a critical selection procedure, whereby the present owner’s asking price will have been checked for reasonableness and representing at least fair value for money. The only departure from that rule is where the business has not yet been visited for that assessment. In such cases that fact will be stated in the details.
In a similar fashion, buyers who are discovered to be simply wasting time with no intention of becoming seriously involved in a commercial enterprise will be ‘struck off’ and will receive no further information on purchase opportunities.
That having been said, we believe that many businesses on offer represent excellent value for money, where the present owners have indicated a willingness to accept less than worth for any one of a number of entirely valid reasons.
The need for absolute discretion at all times may often require less than full disclosure of information in the early stages of negotiations, and the forbearance of interested buyers is requested during this sensitive time.
By way of guarantee to sellers of businesses, we undertake not to disclose any information to prospective buyers which could be used to precisely identify the location of the company. Neither do we move forward without the express consent of the seller, to protect the identity of that party.
